Boyd Foundation Horticultural Center and state-of-the-art greenhouse is located on the grounds of the Historic Hampton-Preston Mansion. The greenhouse features a three-quarter span glass house running the entire length of the structure and includes a production greenhouse, a central orientation lobby, and an interpretive greenhouse. A hexagonal gatehouse, based upon a mid-19^th century structure that stood on the property until the 1940s, now stands in the southwest section of the Pickens Street wall.
