Lexington, SC, February 12, 2024– Cohn Corporation has completed the construction of CubeSmart Self-Storage on Hermitage Road in Lexington, SC.
The three-story, 96,570 sq ft self-storage facility is located at 108 Hermitage Rd. in Lexington, SC. The building construction consists of pre-assembled light gauge steel on a concrete slab-on-grade, and features a full VRF system for climate control. The building contains approximately 614 climate-controlled storage units, two freight elevators, a business lobby, and offices for sales/management staff. The business lobby showcases modern features, along with resources for customer packaging equipment.
Cohn Construction was selected to collaborate in this private development project from its sister company, Cohn Development, and was tasked with designing/constructing the new facility. CubeSmart, the operational management firm, will run day-to-day operations and manage leasing/on-site management for this property. Currently, units are being leased at sizes ranging from 50 sq ft to 300 sq ft.
